About Peeble

Peeble is the companion that helps you discover what's around you and keep what matters. A mobile app for walking and travel, free, on iOS and Android.

How it works

Peeble Guide tells you about where you are

Open the app anywhere — a square, a backstreet, a neighborhood. Peeble Guide tells you the story, the must-sees, the local gems. Not a tourist directory. A passionate friend who knows the area. Works on a Sunday walk at home as well as across the world.

Your Lists keep what marks you

A favorite, a restaurant that stuck, an unreal view. Tap, it's saved. One List per city, per trip, per hobby, per obsession. Your photos, your words, your sections. Private for the places you don't share with anyone, public to inspire, collaborative for a trip together.

Sharing, without sending 12 messages

Follow the profiles whose taste matches yours. Their public Lists flow into your map, and every new place they add lands in your view. A friend asks for your spots in Lisbon? Send a link, they follow the List. No more screenshots lost in conversations.

Our approach

Peeble is built by a small French team in Aix-en-Provence. The backend is hosted in Europe, with no targeted advertising, no third-party trackers, no data resale. The business model is the Peeble+ subscription — not attention harvesting.

Peeble Guide is powered by text generation models (Google Gemini). It's plumbing, not a marketing line: we don't sell an "AI app", we sell a companion that tells you about places.

Frequently asked questions

What is Peeble exactly?

A mobile app combining three things: Peeble Guide (a companion that tells you about where you are), your personal Lists of favorite places with photos and notes, and a social layer to follow other travelers' Lists.

Is it free?

Free tier: 3 Lists, 10 places per List, 3 Peeble Guide zones per month. Peeble+ (€7.99/month or €49.99/year) unlocks quotas, voice intake and collaboration. See pricing.

Does it work at home and on trips?

Yes. Peeble Guide narrates the neighborhood you walk at home as well as a backstreet abroad. Lists make no difference between local and travel.

How does Peeble protect my data?

OVH France + EU hosting. No targeted ads, no third-party trackers, no data resale. Export or delete your account anytime. Privacy policy.

Different from Google Maps or Mapstr?

Maps tools let you drop pins. Peeble adds two things: Peeble Guide tells you about a place when you arrive, and Lists give you a real editorial space (sections, photos, notes) instead of a bare pin.

What platforms?

iOS (iPhone, iPad) via App Store, Android via Google Play. Translated in French, English, German, Spanish, Italian.

How do I share my Lists?

Public, private, or with collaborators. Public Lists get a shareable web page anyone can view without a Peeble account.

What places can I add?

Any. Search, long-press on the map for unlisted spots, import from Mapstr or Google Maps. Your photos, your notes, themed sections.

Your map, your guide. In your pocket.

Free. iOS and Android.
